Dealbook
A CRM for people who sell their own work: every company, contact and follow-up in one pipeline — contacted, replied, demo, proposal, won — then the project, milestones, contracts and payments once a deal closes.
- Django
- Django REST
- PostgreSQL
- Next.js
- Tailwind

- Context
- Selling custom software means many conversations at once — a clinic contacted this week, a follow-up due next week, a proposal waiting on a reply.
- Problem
- Spreadsheets and chat history don't show where each lead stands or who is due a follow-up, so deals go quiet without anyone noticing.
- What I built
- A multi-user web app with team workspaces: a drag-and-drop pipeline, a log of every touch by channel (call, email, WhatsApp, meeting, visit), one-tap follow-up dates, and a follow-ups view of who's overdue, due today and coming up. Winning a deal starts its project and a draft contract, then milestones and payments are tracked to the end. Ctrl K search, light and dark themes, phone layouts, Arabic and English.
- My responsibility
- My own product — design, backend, frontend and hosting, end to end. Built for my daily use first, multi-user from day one.
- Verified outcome
- Live in free beta at deelbook.work, and the tool I run my own client pipeline on.
- Technology
- Django and Django REST Framework on PostgreSQL, with a Next.js and Tailwind front end.
